Description
A powerful, athletic white dog of large proportions with a square head and strong jaw. Though primarily white, the skin often shows dark pigment that can be seen through the short coat, giving a 'spotted' look as seen on this puppy.
Key Features
White short coat, broad head, strong muzzle, athletic build, and dark pigmented nose and eyes.
Coat Type
Short, smooth, and thick; single-coated in warm climates, may develop a thin undercoat in cold climates.
Coat Colors
Pure white, though a single black or dark-colored patch on the skull is permissible if it covers no more than 10% of the head. This specimen shows light ticking/spotting which is common under the white coat.

Health Considerations
Hip dysplasia, hereditary deafness (common in white-coated breeds), and skin allergies/sensitivity.
Living Conditions
Best suited for homes with large, securely fenced yards. Not recommended for apartment living unless provided extreme amounts of exercise.
History & Origin
Created by crossing the fighting dog of Cordoba with various other breeds like the Great Dane, Boxer, and Irish Wolfhound to create a cooperative pack hunter of large game.
